About this Program
The Open World @FICHET Online Program, held by the Foundation for International Cooperation in Higher Education of Taiwan (FICHET) is designed to promote diversity and quality of Higher Education in Taiwan. The program ‘’How Taiwan Enhanced its Higher Education Environment amid COVID-19’’ will share experiences with implementing virtual learning, ensuring campus safety, adapting digital technology for pandemic prevention, and accommodating international students in Taiwan during COVID-19.



The host is Dr. Huey-Jen Jenny Su, Chairperson, Foundation for International Cooperation in Higher Education of Taiwan (FICHET). We invited President Chen of Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages, President Lee of Feng Chia University, and President Hocheng of National Tsing Hua University for joining our online program, “Open World @FICHET” to share their respective experiences and observations. It shows campus prevention measures of COVID-19 in Taiwan from three particular aspects: Virtual Instruction and On-Campus Learning, Digital Technology for Pandemic Prevention, and International Students in Taiwan.
