The European Association for International Education (EAIE) held its 2024 annual conference in Toulouse, France from September 17 to 20. Dr. Cheng-Chih Wu, chairperson of the FICHET, led a delegation of more than 50 participants from 21 universities to participate in the conference.

The NAFSA 2024 Annual Conference & Expo took place in New Orleans, Louisiana from May 28 to 31. Dr. Cheng-Chih Wu, chairperson of the FICHET, led a delegation of 40 representatives from 20 Taiwanese universities and institutions to participate in the expo. The delegation's participation aimed to expand cooperation between higher education institutions in Taiwan and the United States.

Deepening educational cooperation between Taiwan and the U.S., the "2024 Taiwan-U.S. International Education Administrators (IEA) Roundtable Networking" took place on March 22nd at the Center for Public and Business Administration Education, National Chengchi University. Co-organized by the Foundation for International Cooperation in Higher Education of Taiwan (FICHET) and Foundation for Scholarly Exchange (Fulbright Taiwan), the event brought together representatives from 25 universities in Taiwan and 14 universities in the United States, with nearly 50 delegates to explore bilateral cooperation.

Led by Dr. Cheng-Chih Wu, chairperson of the FICHET, a Taiwanese delegation participated in the 2024 APAIE conference in Perth, Australia, from March 4 to 8. This delegation comprised 64 representatives from 29 Higher Education Institutions. The theme of the Study in Taiwan Pavilion at APAIE this year was "Taiwan, the Technology Hub," showcasing Taiwan's educational strengths in semiconductors, circular economy, biotechnology, medical care, and artificial intelligence.
