Covid-19 has disrupted virtually all aspects of higher education. The second Taiwan-UK Higher Education Forum, originally scheduled to take place in Taiwan in September 2020, has been postponed until further notice due to travel restrictions and further uncertainties caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. As the world emerges from the Covid-19 pandemic, now is an important time to raise awareness of the vital role of higher education partnerships in supporting the Taiwan’s and UK’s plans for economic and social recovery and stability, and to engage in discourse that supports and creates an enabling environment for UK-Taiwan higher education partnerships to take root and flourish. 

The UK-Taiwan Virtual Delegation 2020 will provide an opportunity to exchange up-to-date information on higher education policy, evaluate the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on teaching and learning, support international strategic networks and share educational as well as international strategies for the post-Covid future.
