On December 3, 2021 FICHET held the “2021 Annual Conference for Leaders of International Affairs in Universities” at the Courtyard by Marriott Taipei, providing a venue for in-person interaction and communication among more than 100 university Vice Presidents, deans and senior administrators of international affairs.

Director General Dr. Yin-Yi Lee of the Department of International and Cross-strait Education of the Ministry of Education delivered a keynote on "Policy for International Promotion of English Proficiency", and the rest of the conference provided seminars under the themes "Strategies and Key Points for Counseling for Foreign Students during the Epidemic", "Challenges for University International Recruitment under the Impact of the Epidemic”, and "Sharing Experiences of Online International Exchange through Virtual Exchange and Virtual Lab". Group discussions focused on topics including “international online communication”, “overseas student counselling” and “university brand marketing”. Over 100 Vice Presidents, deans and senior administrators of international affairs attended the discussions and achieved fruitful results in exchanging views and experience.
