The 2023 Global Education Leadership Conference for Higher Education Executives is scheduled to be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at the Amber Room of Le Méridien Taipei. The conference aims to enhance the linkages of internationalization affairs of universities across Taiwan and to share the international interaction experiences and practical outcomes of various universities.

The conference will feature a keynote speech by Randall Nadeau, Executive Director of the Fulbright Taiwan, on the topic of "Internationalization of Higher Education in Taiwan: Challenges and Opportunities." Nadeau will discuss the challenges and opportunities facing Taiwan's universities in their efforts to internationalize.

The conference will also feature presentations by representatives from National Sun Yat-sen University, National Chengchi University, National Tsinghua University, and Ming Chuan University. These presentations will focus on three key areas of internationalization: international student recruitment and retention, English-medium instruction, and university international branding.

In the afternoon, the conference will feature a panel discussion on the topic of "English-medium instruction," as well as World Café roundtable discussions on the topics of "Chinese language learning for international students" and "International student retention in Taiwan." These discussions will provide participants with the opportunity to share their experiences and insights with colleagues from other universities.
