"2022 University and College International Administrator Development Workshop" Improving knowledge of international affairs and promoting international cooperation in Taiwan's higher education sector

Taiwan’s Ministry of Education held the 2022 University and College International Administrator Development Workshop on August 19 at the National Chengchi University Center for Public and Business Administration Education. Organized by the Foundation for International Cooperation in Higher Education Taiwan (FICHET) the workshop brought together 113 international affairs personnel from 60 colleges and universities across the country to learn from each other’s operations and experience.

【MOE】Taiwan Delegation Visits Colorado to Promote Educational Exchanges at NAFSA 2022 & Launch New US–Taiwan Education Partnerships

Dr. Mon-Chi Lio, Deputy Minister of Education, Dr. Lee Yen-Yi , Director General of the Ministry of Education’s Department of International and Cross-strait Education, Prof. Su Huey-Jen, Chairperson of FICHET (the Foundation for International Cooperation in Higher Education of Taiwan), senior officials from fifteen universities in Taiwan, and personnel from Fulbright Taiwan, travelled to Colorado to attend NAFSA 2022 to enhance international academic cooperation and promote Taiwan’s higher education. NAFSA 2022 Annual Conference & Expo of NAFSA: Association of International Educators is being held in Denver from May 31 to June 3.

【American Institute in Taiwan, AIT】U.S.-Taiwan Collaboration to Promote International Educational Exchanges in Support of Free and Open Education

The Ministry of Education will organize a cross-agency delegation to join the NAFSA 2022 Annual Conference Expo in Denver, Colorado from May 31 to June 2. Headed by Deputy Minister of Education Dr. Lio Mon-chi, the Taiwan delegation is comprised of leaderships from the Overseas Community Affairs Council (OCAC), National Cheng Kung University, National Taiwan University, National Dong Hwa University, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, Foundation for Scholarly Exchange (Fulbright Taiwan), and Foundation for International Cooperation in Higher Education of Taiwan (FICHET). The delegation will attend the opening ceremony of the Study in Taiwan Booth at the NAFSA Conference joined by State Department and AIT representatives.

FICHET has organized the Study in Taiwan booth at NAFSA Annual Conference & Expo to promote high-quality higher education opportunities in Taiwan and to actively develop diverse collaboration initiatives since 2007. We are so happy to share that Ambassador Bi-khim Hsiao attended the opening ceremony of the 2022 NAFSA Conference's Taiwan Booth today in Denver, Colorado, USA. 14 universities and Fulbright Taiwan participated in the event.
